Final Fantasy XIII first-day sales revealed

According to Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIII has sold more than 1 million copies on its launch day in Japan. That figure does not include the system bundles, which is rumored to be 200K units shipped (not sold). The RPG was released in that region as a Playstation 3 exclusive on December 17th. Square Enix managed to ship 1.8 million copies total (including bundles) to retail stores.

Final Fantasy XIII will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 9, 2010.
