Rumors have been flying around already on all sorts of titles to expect for the upcoming PS4. But, when it comes to developer Square Enix, fans have been apprehensively waiting for one particular game that was announced near the launch of the PS3: "Final Fantasy Versus XIII". A recent NeoGAF post by user Verendus suggests that "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" could very well make it into the PS4 library.
Along with this claim, he states that the "Versus XIII" suffix will not be in the title and perhaps becoming its own entry into the series and will definitely hit the shelves some time in 2014. Other possible titles by Square Enix were mentioned including Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy XVI, suggested to be in development for the next generation of consoles. The user claims to spill this information comfortably, jeopardizing the account from which it was posted if proved inaccurate.
In any case, the new revolution of gaming is becoming more apparent to us all. With the upcoming Playstation-themed event on Feb. 20, much is gearing up to be revealed. Stay tuned for more details.
