Roen has clarified a rumor suggesting that the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive video game, “Final Fantasy Versus XIII,” will be called “Final Fantasy XV.” According to a report by Gaming Bolt on March 17, the Japanese fashion design company disclosed that “Final Fantasy XV” was a typo and has since changed the game back to “Final Fantasy Versus XIII.” They also mentioned that the same mistake won’t happen again in the future. “Final Fantasy Versus XIII” was announced along with “Final Fantasy XIII” and “Final Fantasy Agito XIII,” which has been renamed as “Final Fantasy Type-0.” Although the action role-playing game has disappeared from the media spotlight over the past several years, Square Enix previously confirmed that it is still in development over at their 1st Production Department studio.
