Several games from the TGS 2014 lineup have been revealed for Square Enix, the publisher of "Final Fantasy 15" and "Kingdom Hearts 3." According to a report from Gamer Syndrome on Sept. 2, the company is currently planning to show off eight games at the convention. However, the upcoming mainline sequels to the "Final Fantasy" and "Kingdom Hearts" franchises were not listed.

Square Enix does have a few titles from the same two series that will be present at the Tokyo Game Show. "Final Fantasy Explorers," a 3DS title, and new updates to "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn" will be shown off. Furthermore, the remastered collection, "Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix," is going to appear as well.

The other titles include two handheld games: "Bravely Second" for the 3DS and "Chaos Rings III: Prequel Trilogy" for the Vita. Finally, the "Dragon Quest" series is going to have a big showcase with "Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen," "Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King" and "Dragon Quest X Online." TGS 2014 is going to begin on Sept. 18, lasting until Sept. 21.

Although Square Enix did not list "Final Fantasy 15" and "Kingdom Hearts 3," both videogames could still be shown as surprises. The company did similar reveals by unexpectedly announcing "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" for the PS4 and Xbox One at E3 2014. Sony also announced "Dragon Quest Heroes" for the PS3 and PS4 during the end of the recent Japan-focused media briefing. As executive from Square Enix also previously stated that more of the two sequels should be revealed by the end of this year.

"Final Fantasy 15" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" were revealed at E3 2013. Although Square Enix initially kept fans updated on the process of both projects, the company has stayed relatively quiet this year. The two upcoming titles do not have any release date windows announced.
