The final Divergent trailer was premiered last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Shailene Woodley and Theo James, who play Tris and Four, guest appeared with the final trailer that offered a lot of new footage from the movie.

During the first part of the interview, James and Woodley (showing up via zipline which is amazing), and talk about the movie and how Woodley likes to get fresh water from the mountains near her home. It’s the second part of the interview that has the trailer.

The half of the second part of the interview, James and Woodley talk about their roles and what they thought of before accepting their roles. If you just want to watch the trailer, it starts around 1:53. It can be seen above.

Tris has a voice-over talking about how the Factions work and the system. This is good for those who are interested in the movie but haven’t read the books. She talks about how she is the impossible and how she won't back down against Jeanine (Kate Winslet) and what she wants.

What is going to separate this movie from the other Young Adult adaptations that failed to live up to expectations is explaining the background information in a way so that they can understand. The Hunger Games was able to do this in a short 2-3 minute video before the Reaping. While it doesn’t go into the whole back story, it had offered enough for fans to follow along.

What do you think of the final trailer?
