Filmapalooza comes to the Big Easy for awards presentation

Mardi Gras celebrations continue March 6th-10th as 'Filmapalooza' makes its way into town. New Orleans hosts the awards celebration for last year's 48 Hour Film Project. The global competition challenges filmmakers to create a short film within the span of 48 hours, given a specific genre, one-liner, and prop to incorporate. Various cities participate throughout the year, and the Best of the Best are invited to screen their films during the 'Filmapalooza.'

Thursday, 6 March:
