Academy Award nominated actress Julianne Moore was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame held on Oct. 3, 2013, in Hollywood, Calif. Moore received the 2,507th star to grace the streets of Hollywood and is located on 6250 Hollywood Boulevard next to the W Hollywood Hotel. Moore celebrated the honor with her "Carrie" castmate Chloë Grace Moretz, her "Don Jon" castmate Joseph Gordon-Levitt, director of Julianne's hit TV movie "Game Change" Jay Roach and her family.
"Julianne Moore has captured our hearts on the big screen with her amazing work" stated Anna Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies. "She is one of the most gifted and charismatic actresses of our time and we are honored to have her immortalized on the Walk of Fame."
Actress Julianne Moore is one of Hollywood's most versatile actresses. She can play just about any part, whether it be a serious dramatic role or a silly comedy. Her next role is in the remake of the classic horror film "Carrie." Moore will play the mother of the featured character Carrie, portrayed by Chloë Grace Moretz. "Carrie" was adapted by a novel written by Steven King and the film is set to have a nation-wide release into movie theaters on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013.
You can catch Julianne starring alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson in Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut "Don Jon." The film was released last Friday. Moore has four film projects set to be released in 2014. In January the action film starring Julianne "Seventh Son" will be released. In February, "Non-Stop," the action thriller also starring Liam Neeson will be released. She will also be starring in David Cronenberg drama "Maps to the Stars" and will star in the very popular "Hunger Games" franchise film "The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1," that will be released in November 2014.
This year Moore has been getting some hot Oscar buzz for her performance in the Indy film "What Maisie Knew." Watch for the actress to get some attention from the Golden Globes and the Independent Spirit Awards during award season as well.
