FMff just wrapped a "Happy Holidays Summer Special" for their March 25-29, 2015 event. More activities will soon follow, and they are happy to share some of them here.

"Our 5th annual festival will be held March 25-29 at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Alliance for the Arts and at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. In addition, there will be parties and dinners at Twisted Vine Bistro, Firestone and other select venues.

The Black Tie Red Carpet Gala will be celebrated with excitement and style beginning on March 25 at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at 7 p.m."

Also, according to the festival staff, the event will begin with the red carpet rolling out, paparazzi clicking and doors opening at 5 p.m. for drinks, mingling and musical entertainment. Plus, local and international filmmakers will be present prior to the featured movie. The event will provide the delicious foods from La trattoria Cafe Napole, Aux Delices, Crave Culinaire, White Pear catering and more.

For those interested in such an event, come watch the judging of short indie films every first Monday in season (*schedule of judges and musicians TBA) submitted to the Fort Myers Film Festival and have a say as to whether or not it makes the grade for final programming during the festival to be held March 25-29, 2015.

When does the first "voting" begin?

"Our next T.G.I.M. will be held Monday, September 1, 2014 with celebrity judges. That date's judges will include "Florida Weekly's" Stephanie Davis, "News-Press'" David Plazas, "WINK's" Haley Hinds and musical guest Erica Dale Wagner. Myself, as host, and our co-host will be Melissa DeHaven." - Eric Raddatz
