The group is called the United Film & Television Artists, Inc. (UFTA), and they normally meet every month for their general meeting, but this time they met for a party and short meeting (for their elections) instead.
UFTA members and their guests began congregating before 6 p.m. in a special meeting room at the restaurant for the party. Soon after, the room was full with party guests enjoying the festivities.
Carrie Belluso, UFTA's treasurer, decorated the tables with stuffed teddy bears and brought gifts for everyone that were dispersed later at the end of the meal.
In addition, UFTA is producing a film soon, and the film's director of photography (DP), Ernesto Lasso de la Vega, was at the party. He announced the latest concerning the film and said he will be scouting out shooting locations soon, as the film will begin early 2014!
President Al Quinn wanted all to know, too, that UFTA is more than parties and shooting a film.
