During this past Tuesday's PROJECT Las Vegas trade show, FILA displayed their upcoming retro releases that is sure to generate plenty of buzz for the brand. After a long absence in the basketball market, FILA is bringing back the silhouettes that made them a household name back in the mid-90s.
All throughout 2013, expect to see various colorways of the FILA 96, which was known then as Grant Hill's second signature shoe with the brand, and the FILA Spaghetti that Jerry Stackhouse endorsed and now wears as a member of the Brooklyn Nets. Some of the colorway themes in the works include all of the originals that were released back in the day - including the popular Olympic version of the 96 - and some brand new themes, including Orlando Magic and New York Knicks colorways and potential collaborations that were shown in sample form at the event.
Stay tuned here for more from FILA in the coming months, but don't forget to check out the accompanying slideshow to see what the brand has in store for 2013 as they make their comeback.
