Recent Story: Time to set all pettiness aside: Even split is fair for Pacquiao and Mayweather / Donaire plans to stay at 122 for a while
A lot of people know him as Deuce Bigalow the male giggolo, or remember his skits on Saturday Night Live and cameo roles on Adam Sandler movies, but not a lot of people know that Hollywood actor and comedian Rob Schneider is a proud Filipino-American and boxing enthusiast and actually trains with famed trainer Joe Goosen. Who knew?
Recently, my friend and colleague Elie Seckbach of ESNEWSReporting.com caught up with Schneider and got his thoughts on his fellow Filipino Manny Pacquiao and his ongoing rivalry with Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
"I'd like him to be the 'Floydsicutioner' next time; the 'Mayweathersicutioner'. You have to be able to be willing to sacrifice yourself. Manny's one of those guys with a lot of heart, incredible athlete, incredibly flexible and strong. He's willing to sacrifice his body to get into a position to inflict damage, and that's what makes a great fighter," Schneider said.

Next to Schneider working out was welterweight champ Andre Berto who has a big fight coming up on Feb. 11 gainst Victor Ortiz in a rematch of their "Fight of the Year" showdown last year.
Berto offered his comments on Schneider's pugilistic prowess. "He's the man right there. I've seen his nice little mitt work. He got some hands. Check him out, he's a beast," Berto said and added, "run up on him on the streets, he got those hands."
Whether it's hardcore boxing fans, the average Joe on the street or even a Hollywood actor and comedian like Schneider, everyone wants to see Pacquiao vs. Mayweather go down. Will it ever become a reality? Or go down as an unamusing joke that never sees a 'punch line'?
