Invicta FC strawweight champ Carla Esparza said on March 18 in an exclusive chat with Long Island MMA Examiner Eric Holden that she decided to celebrate Tiffany Van Soest's recent Lion Fights victory by hitting the town for some St. Patrick's Day fun at Patrick Molloys' bar in Hermosa Beach, Calif.
Van Soest, a Muay Thai phenom, defeated Natalie Yip via unanimous decision at a Lion Fights event last week, so she deserved a fun girl's night out with her bestie after a long, hard training camp.
The 25-year-old Esparza needed a break as well, as she narrowly escaped getting hit by a taxi van over the weekend.
During Esparza and Van Soest's night out on the town, the latter raised eyebrows by wearing cute socks that drew attention to her fancy lady bumps.
The socks said "bada**," with arrows pointing up towards her lovely assets.
Esparza was quick to point out that the photo was not necessarily a "booty shot," but in fact just an opportunity to show off the uniqueness of the aforementioned socks.

Booty shot or not, Esparza and Van Soest did their part to show there's more to their personalities than just being fighters. Van Soest was never one to shy away from the sexy angle, so long as people come to realize her serious talent inside the cage when they do ultimately watch her compete.
“Nobody wants to watch a robot fight, the fans want someone they can identify with,” Van Soest said. “They want someone they can either love or hate. You can’t just be a 'fighter', you have to show that you’re a person as well. Being a woman and it’s kind of sad to say, but you have to do more just to get that attention. My whole thing is people say that I’m so pretty and they ask if I get mad about that. I tell them they can come for my looks, but once they see me compete they become a fan for the way that I fight. Come for my looks, but stay for my skill!”
