Nancy Conn is terrified when she is contacted by the parole board warning her that the man who abducted her and murdered her cousin is up for parole.

The true story that inspired the movie involved Nancy Conn McCreary and her cousin Charlotte Parks. According to court records, Richard Mark Ellard abducted Nancy Conn and Charlotte Parks and took them to a remote location where they were beaten. Charlotte Ross did not survive her injuries. The case happened in 1971 in Alabama.

Richard Mark Ellard was eventually arrested and convicted for the abduction and murder in both Alabama and Georgia.

The movie now airs on Lifetime Movie Network.
