Two women are being charged after police claim a fight broke out in the kitchen of a local family restaurant. WBTV is reporting that a Rock Hill police report states that officers were called to Sonny's BBQ in Rock Hill on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 pm.
Once the officers arrived, 30 year old Kirsten Hancock admitted to getting into a heatd argument with a co worker and also admitted to pushing her and began fighting. During the fight, Hancock is reported to have started chocking the 22 year old woman, Kayla Witherspoon.
They were seperated by some other employees. Witherspoon is then reported to have grabbed a 9.5 inch knife.
It is reported that Witherspoon exclaimed "[Expletive], you are going to die today" and "I'm going to kill you," then jumped at Hancock and cut her with the knife.
The two women were again separated by co workers and one who was injured in the process.
Witherspoon was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a crime.
Hancock was taken to Piedmont Medical Center to be treated for her injuries and was later charged with assault and battery for her part in the fight.
