Whew! It has been a busy week in the Big Brother house!
GinaMarie had placed Amanda and McCrae on the block, pitting them against each other in the veto competition. With a second left to go, McCrae hits the last bowling pin and wins the power of veto and an hour or two of throwing up caused by the spinning they had to do on the rope to get the bowling alley gate to drop. Amanda was literally one second behind him in dropping her final pin to win. If the two weren’t so hated by fans, it would have been a heartbreaking scenario.
Once the competition was complete, GinaMarie had to nominate a replacement for the block. McCrae took himself off and GM asked Spencer to sit in the hot seat. Spencer isn’t worried by any means. He knows that Amanda is the target.
GM, Spencer, Andy and Judd have all formed the “Exterminators,” battling together to fight off the rats and snakes in the house. Amanda, McCrae and Elissa are the hated vermin and the fight is on.
It seemed things had settled down. Elissa listened in on a conversation Amanda and Andy were having in the supply room by pressing her ear against the door. She heard Andy consoling Amanda about her latest drama; being put on the block. Elissa is a smart woman and figured out immediately that she can’t trust Andy.
Andy was doing what Andy does best. He was scared to stand up to Amanda about his recent wish to put Amanda up in the hot seat, so he was acting like he cared about her situation. Andy was finally caught in his own game of playing one side against the other.
Elissa informed Judd of the incident. Judd, of course, is part of the Exterminators and he felt it was his duty to fill in alliance buddy Andy about the news. Andy immediately went into scared mode or should I say, he went beyond his normal frightened mouse mode and was worried Elissa would come after him.
Since Elissa overheard this, it confirmed what she had been thinking all along. She can’t trust Andy. Elissa decided she would flip the house one more time and vote to keep Amanda in the house and vote for Spencer. At least this is what she is saying to Amanda and McCrae.
She produced the ultimate sacrifice in the game to seal the deal. She gave Amanda her ring. Some believe it’s a fake ring and others say she is just bat sh*t crazy. Whatever the case may be, Amanda examined the piece under a light and stated she “knows her jewelry” and the ring is real.
Even if Elissa votes for Amanda to stay, the rest of the house will have the numbers. It may end up a tie and GM will have the tie breaking decision, which will be that Amanda goes home.
Now that we’re all caught up, last night was a bit boring in the live feeds. Just as I was about to close it all out, Amanda came out of the diary room and headed for the kitchen where Judd, Spencer, McCrae, Andy and GM were building with Jenga blocks and playing with Play-Doh. She asked GM if Elissa was in the bed (HOH) for the night or if she was just napping. GM replied she was letting her sleep in the room because she asked. GM stated she had no idea what was happening other than that.
GM stated she gave her the bed to sleep and McCranda would have to find another bed. Amanda took offense and began telling GM she didn’t care. She hinted that GM could shut up about it. The two girls went at it. The verbal altercation lasted about 20 minutes before they found themselves chest-to-chest, egging on a physical fight. Judd stepped in to split the two women apart before the house turned in to a cat fight pit. Although this may have pleased the bored chat fans and Spencer.
GM did apologize to Amanda twice. Once she apologized in the kitchen area and later she got up, went into the cockpit room where she attempted a second apology. Of course, Amanda felt picked on and went off about how GM was mean to her, picked on her personally and she didn’t understand where it all came from. From my point of view, there were personal attacks from both sides.
GinaMarie’s Eating Disorder
During the verbal altercation, there were comments made about GinaMarie making herself throw up. GM took offense to the idea that she could be bulimic. She informed Amanda that she has only thrown up twice in the entire game, both times revolving around the eating of slop.
Fans in the chat rooms have continually brought up this topic. I’ve asked many if they have ever actually seen or heard this woman get sick in the bathroom. While it is highly possible someone in the house could have bulimia, it is something that I’ve never seen nor heard GM do.
GM has made comments about her eating habits in the past. She stated she eats small meals and only eats when she actually feels hungry. She was barely seen in the kitchen or at the table eating with other house guests in the beginning of the game. Later in the season, she was on camera cramming food into her mouth as fast as she could and seemed to never stop. This could be indicative of an eating disorder, although I still had not been a witness to the girl getting ill on camera.
One fan informed me that she or he had “seen GM turn on water” before entering the toilet area. The live chat viewer stated they knew she was throwing up. This wasn’t enough proof for me because women – guys, turn your eyes away – often women will turn on a water faucet to avoid being “heard” while going to the restroom. It appears this is the case with GM. She has been known to turn the faucet on while using the restroom many times.
Rumors run Rampant
The chat rooms have been full of rumors this year. There have been many theories as to why it is that Elissa will win, all the way down to GM’s eating disorder.
These are a few that have managed to make it on the list:
1. Elissa will win because she was hired by production to win the game.
2. GM has an eating disorder known as bulimia.
3. Amanda will win the game due to a friendship with a CBS worker.
Elissa was hired to come in and keep everyone occupied with her antics to let Amanda make it until the end.
First, there is nothing that claims Elissa was hired. It would make sense that she signed on for the Big Brother challenge, since her sister had done the same in seasons 11 and 13. Until there is proof of CBS hiring her, we can’t assume anything.
GM’s eating disorder has never been proven. Last night’s argument has GM stating herself that she has not thrown up food in the house except two times when she has eaten slop. She said the slop made her ill. After seeing slop, I do believe I would be pushing her away from the toilet and using it myself. Until there is proof, once again, we cannot assume things about people’s lives. McCrae and Amanda threw up a few times after the spinning in the bowling competition but this doesn't indicate they have any type of eating disorder.
The conspiracy theory surrounding Amanda’s plotted win by CBS is ridiculous. There have been statements made by house guests during the live feeds that production has suggested ways to help players with their game. I do believe that. However, having a friendship with someone in CBS to win the game is a big difference. Having researched the story of the infamous Facebook post, I have found nothing to conclude that CBS has had a hand in Amanda getting this far in the game. What I do believe is that Amanda has used her aggressive behavior to get to this stage in the contest.
House guests have been frightened of her since the beginning. Amanda has demanded their support since she and McCrae have been together. McCrae is even beginning to look like a beaten-down man, emotionally. He slumps over all the time and doesn’t seem to be able to hold his head high, he just does what she asks so he doesn’t have to confront her and he sleeps all the time. The man barely showers unless Amanda asks him to. These are all symptoms of someone who is depressed. I would be depressed too if there were an overbearing presence around me.
Amanda signed on with Big Brother like all the other contestants. Whoever posted that statement on the Facebook page did so anonymously. If you had proof as a person who wanted to come forward and suggest things were “hinky” inside the house, wouldn’t you at least post your name? The anonymous poster claims it is because they are still working inside television and didn’t want to bring attention to themselves. If this person worked for CBS and informed the world of a conspiracy inside the BB house, it would be safe to assume people could put two and two together to figure out who they are.
The poster also claimed they would post evidence at a later time. This has never happened. Before we assume, we need to find proof. Without proof, we have a “ghost” poster who is trying to stir up rumors.
Don't Turn Away -- You Might Miss Something
Tonight will be an epic eviction night. Amanda is slated to leave the house but it is double eviction. There are very few contestants left and the season will be over. Tonight could make or break the Exterminator alliance. Whatever happens, it will answer the question, "Is Elissa playing McCranda or is she actually on their side?"
