Poor quality trampolines delivered to the 2010 World Trampoline Championships in Metz, France are causing some embarrassment for Gymnova equipment.
The FIG put out a press release today announcing that it has brought a "disciplinary suit" against Gymnova, which is based in Marseille, France.
"Tangibly struggling with the apparatus, the gymnasts and coaches [at the 2010 Trampoline Worlds] alerted the FIG, which in turn determined that these trampolines could not possibly have undergone official approval, as stated in the rules," the release stated.
Note that Gymnova has already been named as the official equipment supplier for the 2012 Olympic Games.
