The Edgewater Hortel in Seattle is celebrating 50 years of Beatlemania The Edgewater Hotel

The 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ first trip to America continues this summer with The Edgewater Hotel in Seattle offering “Fab Four’s World Tour’’ package.

In August of 1964, The Beatles famously stayed at The Edgewater Hotel and fished out of their window during the stay. The city was so consumed with Beatlemania that The Edgewater had to install cyclone fencing around the hotel to keep the screaming fans at bay. Some fans even tried swimming across Elliott Bay to reach the Fab Four. After their concert, The Beatles were rushed back to the hotel in an ambulance, while taxi cabs and stand-ins were used as decoys.

The package includes:

• Accommodations in hotel's Beatles Suite
• $20 iTunes gift card to purchase Beatles classics
• In-room Bourbon and Coke — inspired by The Beatles, as one of their favorite cocktails
• Two tickets to the EMP Museum to go back in time and rock out with the best

The package begins at $799 and is available through Dec. 30, 2014.
