Fifty Shades of Grey is the first book in a trilogy written by E.L James. It was written as Twilight fan fiction and changed so that it could be published as an ebook. The Fifty Shades trilogy is amazing and has blown many millions of fans away. I was one of the people who became swept up in the books after my initial hesitation in the first book.
It was announced last week that Fifty Shades of Grey is going to become a Hollywood movie and was purchased by Universal Pictures and Focus Features. The L.A. Times talks about who they would live to see directing the movie; though, I'm more concerned about the actors.
To be sure, the Fifty Shades trilogy will make many uncomfortable with the subject matter; I know that at one point I did not want to keep reading but I am glad that I did. The books are engaging, interesting and will capture your hearts. The love story between Christian and Ana is timeless and most women wish all their lives to find a man that will love them with the completeness that Christian loved Ana.
While I was sad to finish the last book, I was excited to see that the books had been optioned and will likely be made into a major movie. So then I thought, who would I like to see cast in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. Here are my suggestions, feel free to leave comments with your suggestions as well:
