Fifty Shades of Grey” is over half-way done filming and it sounds like fans are eager to see how the movie compares to the book. Given that the sex scenes in the book are very graphic, many people are wondering how the producers are dealing with these sex scenes without making the movie into a downright porno flick. According to a new Us Magazine report published on Jan. 23, “Fifty Shades of Grey” probably won’t be filming the steamy sex scenes as described in the book.

Fans have been thrilled to see pictures from the set, as Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have been spotted filming scenes as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele around Vancouver. But of course, fans won’t get to see pictures from Christian’s apartment or the sex chamber that Christian brings Anastasia to. And producer, Michael De Luca, is revealing how he is dealing with the sex scenes.

He wants to stay true to the book’s sex scenes as much as possible. "We're very conscious of not making anything gratuitous or exploitive while being faithful to the stories of the book and to the fans of the book," De Luca explained. "We're going to give them what they expect, which is an intense and erotic love story. Obviously the film can't be as explicit as the book," he added. "A picture is worth a 1000 words. So to be erotic onscreen means I think an image is going to have way more power than reading the words on a page."

It will be interesting how he will tackle the more detailed scenes in the book. Are you excited for this movie?
