The “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie poster with Jamie Dornan has fans of the movie chatting up the story line as it goes from book to film. With the first look of the new poster released on Friday, everyone is checking out all the details of the image. According to The Stir on Saturday, viewers are not disappointed at looking at full window pane look of the city and the back of the sexy billionaire Christian Grey.
After looking closely at the poster, people might notice that the backside of Jamie Dornan looks photoshopped. In particular in the crotch area the image comes up to a perfect point in the center of Dornan’s legs. Seeming to stretch the fabric tight about the butt, the rest of the pants don’t bunch up like it would in real life. Also, on the left side, the wrinkles of the pant legs are in perfect alignment. If the pants were ironed, there would be possibility for a similar look, but in this case it appears that the image was digitally manipulated to make the wrinkles zig-zag unrealistically as clothing doesn’t fold like it is seen on the poster.
While some fans of the books might argue that it doesn’t matter if the picture on the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie poster is manipulated, it does offer plenty of disappointment to fans who wanted the story on film to be genuine. Building up a gradual climax to when the movie is released, viewers want to see how the story in put together. Digitally altering images doesn’t necessarily offer any great insight for the viewers and the images could just as well be shot on a green screen and reworked on a computer by a graphic artist with a vivid imagination.
