“Fifty Shades of Grey” has been filming the movie for the past couple of months, but it sounds like the first book has come to an end. E.L. James has been on set for most of the movie and it sounds like she is thrilled that her first book in the trilogy has come to fruition. This weekend, she revealed that they were done filming the movie with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. According to a new US Weekly report published on Feb. 22, “Fifty Shades of Grey” may be done filming now, but the movie is still set to be released this upcoming Valentine’s Day, 2015.
E.L. James announced the news of the filming on Twitter. "And that's a wrap…" James wrote simply. She added: "The night is young." She shared a picture of herself with the film’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson. There had been rumors of tensions between the two women, but it sounds like they were all smiles for the wrap party. "One of us is drinking... It's a wrap," she also added.
Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan have both been filming the movie over the past couple of months and they seemed to click very well. "Jamie and Dakota are getting along very well," an insider has revealed about the movie a few weeks back. "Production is going very smoothly."
