The “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie has once again found its Christian Grey in Jamie Dornan, but not all is good for fans of the “50 Shades” realm. Although production for the film was initially planned to begin in early-to-mid Nov., Inside Movies reports this Tuesday, Oct. 29, that production won’t begin until Dec. 2. The report notes that there is the possibility of a release date delay from Aug. 1, 2014, that may happen as a result, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Fellow “Fifty Shades of Grey” fans everywhere were excited to hear that following Charlie Hunnam bowing out of EL James’ erotic upcoming film, Jamie Dornan was finally found as our new Christian Grey. He will still be starring alongside Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.
Although filming has yet to be announced, the production date for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie was initially scheduled to begin this mid-Nov., only weeks away. With confirmed news now that official production work has since been delayed to Dec. 2., a wrench (or perhaps a whip) has been thrown into potential scheduling plans. This has opened up a new problem for fellow excited supporters of the film. The release date, scheduled for Aug. 1, 2014, might now be too close a date for full film completion. Sources have requested comment as to whether the early Aug. premiere is still scheduled, but Focus Features and Universal Studios have not yet offered any confirmation either way.
Hopefully, we “Fifty Shades of Grey” readers and aspiring filmgoers will soon see Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele on the silver screen at the anticipated premiere date. Release date delay or not, we fans can at least breathe sighs of relief knowing that we appear to have our final leads set and more casting of supporting characters on the way.
