“Fifty Shades of Grey” has released its first movie poster which shows off its main man, Mr. Grey aka Jamie Dorman, according to a Jan. 25 Us Weekly report. Warming the hearts of “Fifty Shades of Grey” fans around the world, the movie’s official Twitter page tweeted, “Mr. Grey will see you now. Start the countdown to Valentine’s Day 2015! #FiftyShades #ChristianGrey.”
The teaser poster shows Dornan standing tall as he looks outside an office window, with his hands firmly placed in his pockets. The headline on the poster reads, “MR. GREY WILL SEE YOU NOW.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie, which is based on EL James best-selling book, also stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, an intern who becomes involved with Grey. Stars featured in the highly anticipated movie include Eloise Mumford, Kate Kavanagh, Marica Gay Harden, Rita Ora and Max Martini, among many others.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” is slated to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day 2015, and for those fans expected high voltage erotic scenes as depicted in the book, there may be a slight deviation. Producer Michael De Luca recently told Deadline that the book's sex scenes may be toned down a bit for the big screen, Us Weekly reports.
“We're very conscious of not making anything gratuitous or exploitive while being faithful to the stories of the book and to the fans of the book,” De Luca said, adding, “Obviously the film can't be as explicit as the book. A picture is worth a 1000 words. So to be erotic onscreen means I think an image is going to have way more power than reading the words on a page”
