Universal Pictures/Focus Features,

Fifty Shades of Grey” movie fans now have something concrete to enjoy this week as they wait for the Feb. 2015 release of EL James’ erotic novel adaptation. Universal Pictures and Focus Features have just disclosed the first official “Fifty Shades of Grey” poster, featuring Christian Grey overlooking the city. MSN News reports this Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, that although the poster may not showcase more than the CEO’s suited backside, it nonetheless has many fans left feeling understandably excited.

Amidst rumors of author EL James and “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie screenwriter Kelly Marcel at odds this week to confirmations that the adaptation won’t be as raunchy as the original novel, Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele have been quite popular in the headlines this week. Yet with this first formal poster’s arrival, it seems that “Fifty Shades of Grey” has a new reason to keep fans awaiting the Red Room of Pain.

The official poster portrays the powerful business magnate with his back to everyone, facing a wide window in his office and overlooking the city, with only the iconic words: “Mr. Grey Will See You Now.”

According to the press release on the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film and what details have been made public so far:

“The film will be released in Feb. 13, 2015. The film was originally slated for release on Aug. 1, 2014, but the date was moved back after "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam, who was initially cast to play Grey, dropped out of the film, citing scheduling conflicts. Irish actor Jamie Dornan will now portray Grey in the film.”

According to sources on set, the chemistry between Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson is very real, and that overall progress on “Fifty Shades of Grey” filming is roughly halfway done, which is incredible to believe. With just a little over a year before its long-awaited premiere, fans no doubt have a lot to look forward to before Christian Grey will indeed “see his fans now.”
