'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie: Ian Somerhalder on casting, Mila Kunis rumor false (Photos)

Some casting news was made and some rumors were debunked this week in regards to the hotly anticipated “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie, as Gather Entertainment reported this Friday, Jan. 25, that Ian Somerhalder recently gave a few suggestive words on the Christian Grey role after being asked by TMZ. E! Online also reported this Friday that the buzz surrounding Mila Kunis’ interest in the part of Anastasia Steele is simply “not true,” as the star’s alleged interview with The Sun never even happened, according to sources.

A fan favorite since the news of a confirmed “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie came about, Ian Somerhalder of “The Vampire Diaries” was confronted this week by TMZ, who asked the talented actor if he thinks he might be starring in the casting role of the illustrious Christian Grey in EL James’ erotic film adaptation.

Ian only replied with the words, “You never know.”

This makes sense, considering Ian's well-known interest in the still-in-the-works movie, though TMZ’s Harvey Levin of course took that to mean: “That sounds like a yes.”

EL James has also admitted being a definite fan of Ian Somerhalder and "The Vampire Diaries," so along with fellow fan favorites Henry Cavill and Christian Grey, the star's odds to reach the CEO role are certainly high.

In other “Fifty Shades of Grey” news this week, Mila Kunis was also recently rumored to be “looking” at the Anastasia Steele lead role, calling it a “good time” for her on set. Yet sources from E! Online have reported that Mila Kunis never even had any interview via “The Sun,” so the story rumors may have been entirely made up.
