The “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie fans can rejoice this Halloween, for only a couple weeks after we learned that Jamie Dornan will play Christian Grey, we have found our Jose as well, starring Victor Rasuk as the “rival” of our leading CEO. The Inquisitr reports via Deadline this Thursday, Oct. 31, that as casting continues, Rasuk will be playing Jose.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” readers familiar with the original novels likely know that Jose is a former classmate of Anastasia Steele’s (to be played by Dakota Johnson). While possible study buddies, it’s quite clear that Jose wants to be more than friendly with the lovely young graduate student.
After Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) arrives — as he will soon enough on the silver screen in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie — and sweeps Ana off her feet, he eventually becomes Jose’s rival at winning the student’s heart.
According to the report, Victor Rasuk being cast as Jose marks the final major roles that the filming studio was in need of before production can begin early next month.
After “Fifty Shades of Grey” producers were left running to find their new Christian Grey, it’s been a relief to have found two leading males for the film relatively soon, concludes the report. With their main cast now set, “Fifty Shades of Grey” can begin production as planned (following a small delay) this Dec. 2.
Jose’s new actor, Victor Rasuk, got his major break when he played skateboarder Tony Alva in HBO’s “How to Make it in America” and “The Lords of Dogtown.”
Do you see Rasuk as your Christian Grey in "50 Shades?"
