The decision has been made and Jamie Dornan, the Irish hunk formerly of “Once Upon A Time” has been cast as Christian Grey in the upcoming movie, “Fifty Shades of Grey” according to Access Hollywood on Oct. 24.
The Irish-born actor replaces Charlie Hunnam of “Sons of Anarchy” fame who bowed out after accepting the role due to ‘scheduling issues.’ Rumors abound that Hunnam wasn’t ready to deal with the possible attention the role might generate.
In his most memorable U.S. role, Dornan played Sheriff Graham/The Huntsman during season 1 of “Once Upon A Time” and generated a lot of fan attention. When his character was killed off, fans protested online fiercely. Producers brought him back twice in season 2 through the use of flashbacks, in part to appease fans.
Dornan has the physique for the demanding role which will require that he be undressed a good deal of the time – if the story follows the E L James book closely. He has also worked as a Calvin Klein model in the past.
Are you looking forward to seeing Jamie Dornan in the role of Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades of Grey”
