The "Fifty Shades" movie cast has been announced and fans of the books are furious. For several months, fans have been voicing their opinions about which actors should play the lead roles in the films and despite and overwhelming request for Ian Somerhalder or Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel, they aren't the ones. On Sept. 3, MSN News reported that fans are expressing their outrage, some even signing a petition on Change.org.
"So far, over five thousand people have added their names—in less than 24 hours!—making this campaign slightly more successful than that other one you signed last week that was actually important.
The "Fifty Shades" movie cast will feature Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam as the main characters, Ana Steele and Christian Grey. While there are some fans who think that Dakota and Charlie will do a great job, many others are skeptical. For a lot of people (women especially), the character Christian Grey is a particular type of guy... and Charlie Hunnam doesn't fit the bill.
It is hard to imagine Mr. Grey being someone other than Ian Somerhalder or Matt Bomer but this is how it's going to be. Interestingly enough, "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James actually wanted Robert Pattinson to play Grey. Would he have been a better choice than Charlie Hunnam?
Does this "Fifty Shades" movie cast announcement disappoint you?
