Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back, and the fifth installment of the latest Terminator film will be called, Terminator Genisys.

The news comes today after the 67-year-old action icon uploaded a picture to his instagram of himself sitting in a production chair with the words, "Terminator Genisys". The Terminator veteran made the announcement via his social media page as production wrapped on the franchises latest installment.

Arnold, who will reprise his role as the popular T-800 in his fourth film of the franchise, made the revelation to his nearly 650,000 instagram followers, including a caption that read, "I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1st, 2015, I'll be back".

The title of the latest installment has been revealed, but some speculation still surrounds the plot of Terminator Genisys. It is being rumored that Genisys will feature Arnold as a Terminator whose skin tissue has aged. At some point, he will be sent back to save a younger, Sarah Connor played by Game of Thrones actress, Emilia Clarke. The rumor is yet to be confirmed however, there appears to be some truth to the speculation. Emilia Clarke is just 27-years-old; having her portray Sarah Connor points to the Terminator requiring a trip back in time, if he is to save a younger Sarah.

Playing the role of Sarah Connor's son will be Zero Dark Thirty star, Jason Clarke (John Connor). Other Terminator Genisys cast members include Jai Courtney (Kyle Reese), Dayo Okeniyi (Danny Dyson) and Byung-hun Lee (T-1000). Doctor Who's Matt Smith will be playing a "major role" in the film, although his character is yet to be revealed (Wikipedia).

Terminator Genisys is scheduled to hit movie theaters July 1, 2015.
