Get ready for the World Cup in Rio De Janeiro this summer by celebrating with the largest-ever FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour! Coca-Cola and FIFA are teaming up to provide fans with an experience that brings the world’s most celebrated trophy to Los Angeles this weekend. On Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. and Sunday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m., come enjoy all the festivities and activities the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour has to offer.

The event offers a chance the celebrate the upcoming 2014 World Cup by bringing the World Cup to life in Los Angeles with Brazilian-themed entertainment as fans will be transported to Brazil through a hologram experience. Enjoy free samples of Coca-Cola, challenge your soccer skills, get pumped with upbeat music and more while having great time with your family and friends. Fans will also have the opportunity to see and get their photo taken with the legendary FIFA World Cup Trophy!

The event itself is free, but a ticket is required to attend this astounding experience. There will be a limited number of tickets on the day of, so arrive early for your chance to receive a ticket for some weekend fun. Additionally, the Coke Fanfest located on Chick Hearn Court will be free and open to the public with no ticket required.

On April 19 starting at 7:00 p.m., Brazilian-American singer, David Correy will provide fans with a musical performance. Correy is a former X-Factor contestant and is known as the voice behind the Coca-Cola 2014 FIFA World Cup Anthem, “The World is Ours.” Puerto Rican reggaeton artist, Wisin will also participate by singing “La Copa de Todos,” the U.S. Spanish-English bilingual version of the Anthem.

“Seeing the FIFA World Cup Trophy in person is an unforgettable experience, especially in the stunning way FIFA and Coca-Cola are bringing it to fans,” said Katie Bayne, President, North America Brands, Coca-Cola North America.

The event at L.A. LIVE will be the last stop on tour before the trophy heads down to Brazil for its final stop the 2014 World Cup. Prior to arriving in Los Angeles this weekend, The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola has traveled to 90 countries spanning 92,000 miles and 221 consecutive days with the United States designated as the final leg of the world tour.
