'FIFA 14' leaked for PS4 (Photos)

"FIFA" is one of the most popular sports franchises in the history of gaming, and for fans of the series, it looks like "FIFA 14" is headed to the PS4.

According to a report from FIFAInsider yesterday, some new placeholder information has been leaked and it lists "FIFA 14" as a game in which it will be ported over to the PlayStation 4.

Like most titles that will hit next-generation consoles, this game will most likely also be hitting current generation systems like Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

"FIFA" installments have been hitting nearly every home console out there, so there's little reason to expect anything different this time around.

There has been no confirmation about this game being ported to the PS4, but it's really a formality at this point.

Kantcho Doskov, who is a FIFA 13 gameplay producer, recently spoke about where he sees the "FIFA" franchise 5 years from now.

"Our goal each year is to make not just the best football game but the best game, period. So we are going to continue to push the boundaries of innovation and quality to make a great playing game.

"And since we get our inspiration from football, and every game something happens that sparks an idea or starts a conversation, we’ll never run out of ideas.

"As you know, we also have a very vocal fan base and they let us know what they like, what they don’t like, what they want, and what they find frustrating, and we make sure we address and prioritize as many of these items as we can to make our fans happy," Doskov said.
