Fiestas de Albuquerque is coming this weekend

This year’s Fiestas de Albuquerque marks the Duke City’s 308th birthday. This historical cultural experience takes place in the beautiful plaza at Old Town from 10am-5pm this Saturday, April 12, 2014. Join this fun celebration and learn more about the city’s history.

Albuquerque’s history has five notable major eras, which are Native American, Founder’s Spanish, Mexican, Territorial, and Albuquerque Now! eras. Enjoy live music, performances, demonstrations, and delicious New Mexican food. There are also activities for the kids making this fiesta fun for the whole family.

Old Town merchants will staff booths throughout; visit with the established local businesses and meet new ones. Check out the Facebook page to see the full entertainment schedule.
