Fields & Fences Equestrian Center will present Dressagefest on Saturday, January 28th, and Sunday, January 29th, in their large and heated indoor arena. This two-day weekend horse show is recognized by these equestrian associations:
- United States Equestrian Federation (USEF)
- United States Dressage Federation, Inc. (USDF)
- Illinois Dressage and Combined Training Association (IDCTA)
Sue Malone-Casey, an “S” judge from Highland Village, Texas, will preside, with Loretta Waltner, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, serving as technical delegate. A local veterinarian and farrier will both be on call during the event.
Classes include all dressage levels, from USDG Introductory through the FEI levels (including USDF and FEI musical freestyles). Proper horse show attire and USEF-approved safety headgear will be required for all equestrians.
On-site trailer parking is available, and heated indoor viewing areas are available for spectators. A separate heated indoor warm-up arena and lunging area are also available.
Horse stalls may be available by advance reservation at Fields & Fences Equestrian Center, and current negative Coggins test results will be required for all equine participants in the horse show.
An additional Dressagefest show will take place at Fields & Fences March 24th and 25th. These shows, hosted by Fields & Fences School of Horsemanship, count as GAIG/USDF Regional Qualifiers.
Fields & Fences Equestrian Center is located in Wadsworth, Illinois, about two hours southeast of Madison.
