At night, the Field of Terror in East Windsor N.J. is a perfect spot to stop at this Halloween. Some of their more sinister attractions include the Killer Kornfield (hosted by the Korn Kreeper), the Zombie Attack Haunted Hayride, the Unknown Barn, and the Dementia 3D Haunted House, a “psychedelic sanctuary.” Ticket and pricing information can be found here.
There are also some tamer attractions for families during the night hours, including a friendly flashlight maze which costs $10, as well as nighttime pumpkin picking.
On November 9, the Field of Terror will be hosting a Zombie Mud Run which kicks off at 7am.
Sunshine Acres also promises “family friendly fall fun” during their daytime hours. Beginning on the weekends of September 29 through October 28, from 10am to 5pm, K & S Farms hosts a variety of autumn activities such as corn mazes, pumpkin picking, and hayrides. Their hayrides are free, and you pay for what you pick at the pumpkin patch (all pumpkins and squash are just 49 cents/lb).
