It is amazing how a snipping of a ficus tree branch or a twig can be placed immediately into water and it can root over time to create a completely new plant. The plant such as a ficus tree can give that result.
Placing the snipping into a glass holder with perhaps a narrow opening at the top and place onto a sunny windowsill to protect it from the temperatures in El Paso, Tx will get it started.
It will also give the window a view.
The ficus are small plants, miniature tree’s that will grow into much larger tree. They can be groomed and grown indoors and depending on region and other climate in other areas, it can grow outdoors. They are seen in Carlsbad, California outdoors in a larger frame. When growing the ficus tree indoors they like an area with less draft, traffic and a indirect bright, sunny window. If given that opportunity to grow in such a way they will show off their specific beauty. They grow into individual leafy tree's. They do not require a lot of attention, though proper watering is a must and if one wishes to trim to grow a specific width and height, it is something that is manageable. Again, that is when the clippings of the ficus plant can be gathered to start another plant.
