The Florida Highway Patrol in Jacksonville says they seized over $100,000 in marijuana after a traffic stop in St. Johns County Wednesday morning. The FHP says troopers with the Criminal Interdiction Unit stopped a pickup truck for an illegal window tint violation shortly after 10 a.m. on I-95 at State Road 206. During the stop, troopers were allowed to search the pickup and said they detected the odor “…of raw cannabis or marijuana from inside the truck.” Troopers report that they found a dog food bag in a box in the rear passenger compartment, containing “…30 brick shaped packages of 1.1 lbs. of compressed high grade marijuana.” Troopers say the driver told them he was “…transporting the contraband from Miami to Jacksonville for profit.” The FHP says 44-year old Roger Silva Aguilera of Miami was arrested on felony charges of Trafficking Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana over 20 grams and Possession of Marijuana with intent to sell, and transported to the St. Johns County Jail.
