Are you looking for something to for the weekend starting Friday June 27, 2014?

If so, here are some fun options for couples to choose from going on around the Bay Area.


If you're going to be in the Richmond CA area you can enjoy the Juneteenth Family Day and Parade.

The Parade will start at 10am on Cutting Blvd and Marina Way and end at Nicholl Park at 31st and MacDonald Ave. The Festival will take place in the park from 11:30 to 6pm. Some of the entertainment will include Dawn Robinson from En Vogue and the R&B group Slave.There will be lots of food, lots of booths and plenty of fun.

Marin (this information for the week of the 4th)

If you are going to be in the Marin area you can enjoy the Marin County Fair from July 2, 2014 thru July 6, 2014.

The fair is will be open each day from 11am through 11pm. The fairgrounds are located on Civic Center Drive off Highway 101. There will be lots of food, music, rides and fireworks every night. For more information about the fair or to get your tickets log onto:

Santa Clara

The Midsummer Arts Festival will take place on Saturday June 28th at the Triton Museum of Arts located at 1505 Warburton Ave in Santa Clara. There will be plenty of food, art and fun. The festival is from 10am until 4pm. For more information log onto:

Montclair-Oakland CA

If you are going to be in the Montclair-Oakland area you can check out the Fine Arts Sidewalk Festival.

The festival will take place Friday June 27th from 10 to 6 and Saturday June 28th from 10 to 5 and will be held at the Montclair Village Shopping district. The shopping district is located at Mountain Boulevard and La Salle. There will be over 80 artists, food and fun.

No matter where you will be in the Bay Area there will definitely plenty of sun, lots of different types of food, different types of music and most of all plenty of fun for couples of all ages.
