The 2013 edition of FestiGals is still a few months away but it's time to start planning the fun right now!
On Wednesday, January 16, wear your snazziest hat and join the FestiGals Kick-off Cocktail Party. It's all happening at the Carousel Bar at the Hotel Monteleone. Participates will receive a complimentary cocktail and hear about all the good times that are planned for the next getaway devoted to "Entertaining and Enriching Women, New Orleans Style."
The third annual FestiGals is scheduled for June 20 - 23, and as in the two previous years will include mixers, seminars, workshops, pub-crawls, tours - even a Second-Line Parade, and more. The mission of FestiGals is to "promote a run, safe and enriching weekend for women to relax, enjoy high quality special events and explore the cultural diversity and rich heritage of New Orleans while contributing to causes that benefit and empower women." The 2012 FestiGals generated funds for the Cancer Associate of Greater New Orleans.
