Community organizers are facilitating Utah’s 2nd Annual Infertility Awareness Event as an introduction to National Infertility Awareness Week (April 23rd-30th). Local fertility clinics, therapists, and other community organizers are joining together to sponsor this educational event designed to acknowledge infertility, raise awareness of its far-reaching effects, and to offer resources to men and women dealing with infertility. At this year’s event, speakers will address the emotional and social side of infertility. Discussions about strengthening relationships, the fears and concerns of third party reproduction, and tangible ways to cope with this disease will be part of the schedule.
The event will be hosted at the University of Utah in the Health Sciences Education Building from 9:00AM-12:00PM on Saturday, April 30th. The event will be offered FREE, however, as seating is limited, registration is required, and will open on April 1st
at www.utahinfertilityawareness.com. Anyone who is dealing with infertility or knows someone who is unable to conceive will benefit from attending this event.
