Ferrari 458 Italia street races Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

In a battle for the Italian supercar pole position, the street race of a Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is quite interesting indeed. Surprisingly, the 458 Italia blows the doors off of the Lamborghini as if it was standing still. A day of shame is cast upon the Lamborghini name as the flaming Ferrari destroys it's presence. Both of these cars are beautiful vehicles, and they both have a life long competition heritage following their design. One year Lamborghini is faster, then next year it's Ferrari; so on and so forth. Lamborghini needs to do some major updates if they plan on keeping up with the Ferrari 458 Italia. That is, unless the Ferrari catches on fire.

The 458 Italia is a great car, as long as it doesn't decide to self destruct. Multiple accounts of these cars burning to the frame have appeared in the last year, leading up to a recall by Ferrari. (Watch one burn to the ground here!) In it's short life on this planet, the Ferrari 458 Italia has been subject to some pretty harsh abuse. Wrecked into a tree, used as a park bench, burnt to the ground, the list just goes on and on. Now that the Ferrari has finally made some good PR, maybe the 458 Italia name can be saved.
