Fernbank to host Lost Oasis Benefit

The Fernbank Museum of Natural History will hold a benefit called “Lost Oasis 2010: A Museum Masquerade” on Saturday, June 12.

The event is the 16th annual, and is hosted by Artemis, the Fernbank’s young professionals group, and all funds raised will benefit children’s programming at the museum. The event coincides with an exhibit called “Geckos: From Tails to Toepads,” which features 15 of the animals. The event will feature an auction, live music, prizes, food and cocktails.
Raffle tickets may be purchased ahead for a drawing to win two round trip business class tickets to anywhere in the continental United States on AirTran Airlines. One does not have to be present to win.
Ticket prices for “Lost Oasis” begin at $100 per person. Click here to purchase tickets.
To stay up to date on events at the Fernbank, check out their website, find the museum on Facebook or follow them on Twitter at @FernbankMuseum.
