Whoever said you can't wear white past Labour Day clearly didn't foresee Fergie and Marion Cotillard's fabulous snowy creations, setting the trend for the holidays, at the premiere of Nine in the Big Apple this December.
The Black Eyed Peas singer mastered the Grecian look in a crisp white one-shoulder Marchesa gown paired with metallic heels.
Meanwhile, Oscar-winning French actress Marion took the wintry hue strapless in a dreamy column Dior dress with an embellished bodice. The brunette beauty added a couple of strands of Chopard black diamonds to complete the look.
In stark contrast to the winter white goddesses however was their Nine co-star, Nicole Kidman, who chose a shoulder-baring black Prada frock with matching peep-toe pumps.
Kate Hudson stuck with a monochrome look in a shimmering Chanel cocktail length number that stood out with a unique long train.
And Penelope Cruz added a splash of colour to the red carpet affair in a stunning scarlet liquid satin vintage Chanel couture asymmetrical floor-length gown teamed with Sergio Rossi heels.
While all the leading ladies wore contrasting colours, one thing they all had in common, however, were their glittering Chopard jewels.
Other luminaries to turn out to the hot ticket premiere were Madonna and her daughter Lourdes in Eighties-inspired - Like A Virgin-era - Dolce & Gabbana attire.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Tobey and Jennifer Maguire and Naomi Watts also took to the red carpet at the star-studded screening on Tuesday night in New York.
