Why use Facebook's "Life Event" when you can simply Tweet all about it? Josh Duhamel and Fergie did, announcing on Twitter this week that they are expecting the couple's first child.
The couple married in 2009 after five years of dating recently announced expecting their first child after weeks of speculation. The Black Eyed Peas singer announced "“Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump” posting a Photoshopped picture of her and Josh as babies. Husband Josh may as well have retweeted the announcement as his stated the same thing. However he did share that Fergie said a little more than her Twitter revealed when she first found out the happy news "This s–t just got real." Yes, yes it did.
But don't let that fool you. The couple is thrilled to be expecting and never made a secret of hoping to have children, "We do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it's not yet," Fergie told Rachael Ray.
The happy couple joins other celebrity couples expecting babies in 2013 including Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Beverly Mitchell (Secret Life of American Teenager), Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard (Parenthood), Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, Jessica Simpson, Tracy Morgan, Mario Lopez and Penelope Cruz.
