It's been a good few days on the recruiting trail for Western Kentucky in the state of Tennessee.

Ensworth running back D'Andre Ferby has committed to Western Kentucky according to his twitter account.

"Officially committed to Western Kentucky University every since I was playing back at UNA my dream was to play Division 1 and now that goal has been reached."

Ferby (6-1, 220) was the 2013 Division II-AA Mr. Football Back rushing for 1,317 yards and scored 21 touchdowns and helped lead the Tigers to their fourth consecutive Division II-AA state title.

He chose the Hilltoppers over offers from Wake Forest, Memphis, Toledo, Middle Tennessee State, Chattanooga and Appalachian State.

Three days before Ferby committed, Western Kentucky received another commitment from Blackman fullback/linebacker Antonio Allen.

Allen (6-2, 220) committed to Western over Middle Tennessee State, Purdue South Alabama and Appalachian State.

Allen helped the Blaze reach the Class 6A Semifinals for the first time in school history this year.

The Hilltoppers now have 20 commitments in the Class of 2014, which also includes Franklin Road Academy offensive lineman Joe Irby.
