In a cozy space on the corner of Prince and Greene Streets in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, FENDI has staked residence for the next 6 months. The 640 sq. ft. space is the perfect balance of fun with the sophisticated style that any consumer would expect from the house of FENDI.
FENDI kicks-off the opening of the space with petites like Karlito, the furry Karl Lagerfeld doppelgänger (ticketed at $1,750), shown at the runway opening of Fendi's fall show. In it’s upcoming six month stay, the concept store will switch up the theme of the products being sold and will feature everything from menswear to furs and beyond.
The dubbed #fendisoho shop also is full of Fendi’s most coveted accessories for you to channel your inner kid in a grown-up way. While the majority of the shop is covered in sophisticated leather and velvet, the walls are adorned with playful hashtag signs and fun arcade-themed decor. In addition highlighting the details and craftsmanship of each Fendi product a grand chandelier crafted from lightbulbs illuminates the natural brick space, and merchandise will be displayed in ultrachic vending machines with splashy neon signs.
Fendi remains one of the world’s premiere creators of bags, furs, and accessories. But fashion has changed as millennials have entered into adulthood, and brands now more than ever are altering their aesthetic to appeal to a younger and hipper market.
