Taormino was the big winner at last night's 5th Annual Feminist Porn Awards, picking up the Smutty School Teacher Award for Tristan Taormino's Expert Guide to Anal Pleasure for Men from Vivid Entertainment's Vivid Ed line as well as the Trailblazer of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Other big winners at last night's ceremony in Toronto included Visionary Award winner Shine Louise Houston (Pink and White Productions); April Flores, winner of the Hearthrob of the Year Award and star of Deliciously Diverse Cast winner Dangerous Curves (HeartCore Films, directed by Carlos Batts); Visionary Award winner Jiz Lee; and Emerging Filmmaker Tobi Hill-Meyer, director of Doing It Ourselves: The Trans Women Porn Project (Handbasket Productions).
The Band (Hungry Films, directed by Anna Brownfield) won Hottest Feature; The Deviant (Sweet Sinner Video, directed by Nica Noelle) won Best Straight Film; Madison Young's Fluid: Men Redifining Sexuality (Reel Queer Productions) won Best Bisexual Film; Des Jours Plus Belle Que La Nuit (Blue Artichoke Films + La Fille' D'O, directed by Jennifer Lyon Bell & Murielle Scherre) won for Best Direction; Courtney Trouble's Speakeasy (Reel Queer Productions) won the Most Tantalizing Trans Award; River Rock Women's Prison (Triangle Films, directed by Kathryn Annelle) won Best Dyke and Best Kink Movie; and Erika Lust's Handcuffs (Lust Films) won the Sexiest Short Film Award. The Audience Choice Award went to Shine Louise for her Crash Pad Series (Pink and White Productions). RubysDiary.com won for Best Website.
