Feminine trends. Move over ‘old dog’ the top dog is moving in. The problem has no name, but the old dusty order is being replaced in an intense area where power is filtered, designed, assumed and designated; it’s where war is declared and body bags are counted. Women are brilliant, unique and strong.
A major cultural shift
Women are always moving and challenging deeply held beliefs about what has been accepted, and rearticulating boundaries. Making humanism more comfortable, more spiritual, rational and sensible. Moms are the sole provider in 40% of the homes reveals a Pew Study.
Welcome to the century of woman
The Athena Survey data shows 64,000 people in 13 countries from the Americas, Europe and Asia point out widespread dissatisfaction with what are perceived as the “male ways” of doing business and a growing appreciation for competencies considered feminine.
Keep doing what we’ve always done and keep getting what we’ve always gotten or…
60% of the survey agreed if more women were in office society would be more fair and economically advantaged. The people have grown cold to male dominancy, disparity, high unemployment and political gridlock. 76% including French, Brazilians and Germans thought the world be a better place if men thought more like women.
Vulnerability and empathy are strengths
Learning from failure our leaders should embrace it and see it as the cornerstone of development. Not doing so could snuff out the potential for innovation and increased performance. People see it and feel it regardless of their gender. Dr. Ijad Madisch, a Harvard-trained virologist who kept getting stuck in his experiments was give the shoulder by his colleagues when he tried to ask for their help. Scientists after all are supposed to be know-it-alls. Madisch started a network of scientists, ResearchGate, which is 3 million members across 200 countries. What did he learn? Letting down his guard and showing humility brought him ideas of innovation.
