This spring ushers in refreshing change of pace for women's fashions. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of a rocking look. But this spring we see a return to simple silhouettes, demure lengths and soft colors. You don’t have to pull out your gloves and your debutante white shoes, but for the first time in a while being truly feminine is being celebrated.
According to Arlene Goldstein, Belk’s Fashion Director, keep your hemlines a little longer and create a mystery with strategic lace eyelets. Shades of pink and lilac are the way to go this season. Julie Roberts can revisit her time on “Steel Magnolias” wearing a little “blush and bashful”.
