Polk County police have arrested a Felton man on charges in connection with operating a chop shop.
On Wednesday, December 28, 2011, Polk County police arrested Randal Fred Shuemake, age 52 of McKibben Road in Felton, Ga.; on multiple charges related to the operation of a chop shop. Shuemake was in possession of two stolen vehicles with altered VIN numbers.
Shuemake has been charged with operating a chop shop, two counts of theft by receiving stolen property, two counts of removing or falsification of vehicle identification number (VIN) and two counts of possession of a vehicle with altered identification.
Shuemake was released on December 29, 2011 after bonding out on a $28,300 property bond.
