"For all you fan boys I grabbed a pic w/ @BellatorMMA beauty @thejadebryce http://twitpic.com/bw4nh8," Herrig wrote on Twitter.
Herrig, 28, also enjoyed some quality time with Bellator MMA ring girl Mercedes Terrell during Bellator 85.
Bellator 85, which served as Bellator's debut with Spike TV, was a great success on all fronts.
Pat Curran defeated Patricio Pitbull to kick off the Bellator 85 main card, and Mikhail Zayats advanced to the semifinals of the Bellator Season 8 light heavyweight tournament with an upset win over Renato Sobral.
Michael Chandler choked out Rick Hawn in the co-headliner, and Seth Petruzelli squared off against Jacob Noe in the main event of the evening.
“I’ve got a lot of improving to do, I’ll tell you that much,” Chandler said. “You’ve got to surround yourself with the best people you can and try to be the best person you can. If you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backward. That’s me.”
"What I’ve accomplished so far is nothing compared to what I want to accomplish as far as wins and putting on great performances for the fans,” Chandler recently added during a media conference call. “Being relatively young in the sport, I just try to stay humble and hungry. I’m healthy, and I’m going to try to continue to get better and continue to prove to myself that I have a ton more potential than I’ve already shown. I haven’t slowed down since I started out in this sport, and I don’t plan on slowing down now.”
Herrig, who was joined by Invicta FC champ Carla Esparza, enjoyed some camera time for Spike TV as she stood behind Michael Chandler in the co-main event of the evening.
Bryce and Terrell also received plenty of airtime on Spike.
